Want to Join!

Hello fellow Jeepers,

I am very interested in joining your club and crawling your trails. I have heard about you through various sources (many from Jeep Forum) and was hoping to get a little more information about how I might get sponsored in order to join. I saw some previous "invitational" trail rides, but don't see anything in the immediate future.

I live in Charlottesville, and while I'm relatively new to Jeeps, I'm not at all to offroading (though most of it was muddy trails). Here's a little bit more about me and my jeep (as read from the Jeep Forum profile page) http://jeepspace.jeepforum.com/TJaefick.

I frequent Shoe Creek and the Big Levels areas in the GWNF, but am looking for something a little closer to home, not to mention the camaraderie of a club full of folks that are into the same things as me and my girlfriend.

Welcome to the site. Joining is not hard. There are people wheeling most weekends. You do not have to wait for an open weekend to join. Post up when you would like to come out, and see if anyone else is coming that weekend.

Where do you work in Charlottesville? I've seen your Jeep around town.

Thanks for the information. My work schedule will keep me occupied for the next few weekends, but I do have some time off coming soon, hopefully.

I work down 20 South at a catering company, and my girlfriend, who drives the jeep as much as I do, works in town. It's not our DD, but we both love driving it so one of us usually takes it to work--not without a flip of a coin or some harsh words about who gets to drive it next though

I'll get back in touch when there's a weekend on the horizon that looks doable.
